Title: New Deer Kirk Sessions

Hi

My wife's great grandfather Alexander Gibson was christened in New Deer, Aberdeenshire, on 5 February 1851. His mother Janet Gordon brought him forth "in fornication" to Alex Gibson in Peterhead.

I would very much like to know if the New Deer Kirk Sessions gives any further information, particularly on his father. Living in London I don't know if I can get to Edinburgh for some time. If some kind person is able to look this up for me, I would be immensely grateful.
