Title: Need place of birth -COMPLETED-
Post by: sanqhar on Saturday 04 July 09 21:58 BST (UK)
In the quarter ending March 1910 Charles Henry Barker is shown as marrying Lily Frances Oades,  Wandsworth 1d 779

From other sources I am pretty certain that this Lily Frances Oades was born In 1887 or 1888.

This narrows it down to either:

Lily Frances Oades born QE June 1887,  Lambeth 1d 502, or

Lily Oades born QE September 1888,  Doncaster 9c 649

Can anyone help with which one of these two ladies is the more likely to have married Charles Henry Barker?

Thanks

Hi

If you can find them in the 1911 census that will tell you where she was born

Hi again

There is a Lily Frances Barker born 1887 living in Lambeth in the 1911 and a Charles Henry Barker born 1877 also living in Lambeth in the 1911. However you would need to buy credits to see if they were the same family.

I'd take a guess at the Lambeth one if they were married in Wandsworth.

If you go to the advanced search on the 1911 census, and do an 'other members of the household' search on Lily Francis Barker, the result is Charles Henry Barker.
Lily's birthplace was Lambeth.
By the way, she is transcribed as Lily Francis not Frances.
