Title: Wilfred Hince
Post by: researchrobin on Thursday 02 July 09 12:44 BST (UK)
Wilfred Hince , born 1885 in Ramsey, Isle of Man, UK, sailed to Canada  in 1913 on the 'Tunisian' from Liverpool to Halifax.  I think he then stayed in Canada and was last heard of during the First World War at Box Number 184, Banff, Alberta.  Any ideas on how I find more information on him?  His Father was William, Mother was Jane and had sisters Elizabeth and Annie, and a brother Robert.

Have just looked at all the links you've found for me - a mystery has been solved at last! I also looked at the website for Kelowna and can see why he wanted to settle there.  Fabulous scenery compared to industrial Manchester of the early 1900's - no comparison.
