Post by: caroldawn on Monday 29 June 09 03:31 BST (UK)
can anyone tell me about the blackies mill brechin  I believe it was a sawmill run by waterwell and run in the 1840s by charlie and john Millar, who also owned a woolen mill and a meal mill
 Thanks Caroldawn

My family (the Berties) were from Aberlemno in the 1600 - 1800 and wondered if they worked in Blackies Mill and i have been trying to track down information on it for a little while.  Thank you for letting me join in.
