to get you started - there is a tree on A* (assume its not yours as there are some extra children).

the only marriage William is:

also 2 deaths:
william Brazier mar 1848 chelmsford 12/45

The death of my William is the 1848 one.
On 1841 census he has another daughter called Elizabeth born 1830 and Catherine born 1830. John hes son is my great great grandad, who had Herbert 1884 (my great Grandad) who then went on to have my grandad Stanley in 1917.
I have looked over loads of records in 1891 census (cost me a fortune) and can't seem to find any trace of them, yet they are back on 1901 census.
Im after anything really, marriages and deaths. I have found where they lived via the different census'
I just cant seem to get back any further or trace what happened to the children.
Any info would be greatley appreciated.
Many thanx.

SO
William (bn about 1786) is John Grandfather!
and he did not die 1848 - that may be his son (John's dad) but he wouls not have been born 1786/7)
I think there are two generations muddled here (possibly).

Looking at the 1851 that Diddy gave you before, I see there is no relationship given for 7 yr olf john (in the H/H of William and catherine)
I would suggest he is their grandson, his father also William having died in 1848.
Diddy has also found William and Cathrine on 1841
Hopefully somewhere there is William (his son, Johns dad) around.
Getting Johns birth cert would give a mothers name and help
Or best to get that 1848 death cert - to confirm age of thatWilliam and see what widows name was (if she was informant) Need that cert really to confirm this line of thought
But I will take a look
-
Pure speculation - you need to get some certs to firm this all up
But
this could be the missing William in 1841 (ie son of 'old' William who was married to catherine, father og John bn 1846ish, died 1848ish)
HO107 326 13
Church Lane Writtle
William 25 Ag Lab Y
Sarah 25 Y
George 4
Clara 4mths
MArriage
Jul/Aug/Sep 1840
Chelmsford
William Brazier
brides on page Sarah Bonnington, Sarah Juniper, MAry Rayment, Hannah Westwood
so a choice of two Sarahs
John's birth cert should give mums maiden name, and help confirm all this

I am missing the 1861 census list of them, can anyone help me please!
