I have a Martha Aldersea (also spelt Aldersey) born 1798 in Madeley, d. of Thomas and Mary.

There are a number of Alderseas in the Madeley and Betley registers in the early 1800's if you are going back that far.

Hi both

I have a Samuel Aldersea born 1845 in Wolstanton and his father is William who married an Elizabeth Glover in Madeley in 1829. That is as far as I know at present and I haven't been able to find them on the 1841 census. Elizabeth appears to have been born in Wolstanton. The marriage in Madeley is the only connection I can come up with for my Alderseas

I know this is an old message trail but I am looking for Alderthea/Aldersey/Aldersea family records, I thought I would post my interest. My family were from Halesowen in the 1700s. I have John Alderthea (born around 1730) marrying Sarah Spencer in Halesowen 4 Mar 1760. They had many daughters but only two surviving sons. I will start looking at the Madeley area I think.
