Could someone look up the birth of Wilson Burnett born about 1920 in Ilseworth, Surrey.
He came over to Western Australia as a Fairbridge Farm boy and I would like a bit more information about him please.
Kind regards
Bev

Hi
Wilson Burnett's birth was registered Brentford Registration District March quarter 1920 reference 3a 210 - mothers maiden name Burnett.
For more information on this you will need to order the birth certificate.

Hi Bev
You can order the birth certificate directly from the General Registry Office
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/
Do the Fairbridge records in Australia give any indication where Wilson Burnett came from when he was sent to Australia? It may therefore be able to trace Wilson in English 'home or poor law records if that is known. As this is sensitive information and Wilson may still be living Rootschat policy is not to put such information into the public domain if that is the case.
Isleworth is in Middlesex not Surrey. It lies just north of the curving river Thames.
I'm moving your post to the London and Middlesex look up board.

Hi Valda,
I didn't think to enquire about the Fairbridge records, but I can assure you Mr Burnett is definitely deceased.
Kind regards

Hi Bev
The standard policy in this country for children's homes, because the information is sensitive, is to only release the information to the person themselves, or if they are dead, a direct descendent.

Hi Bev
I am interested to see if you have found out any information in regards to Wilson? My grandfather Albert was his brother, they came out on the ship together.
