Hi,
Please could you help me to find where Ada could be buried?.
She is recorded as having died between apr ,may , jun in 1909. Louth. Her married name was Wright and her death is recorded as Ada Wright. (her husband was Charles and he married again.) .She left three children Ivy,Alice and Harold - my granpa.when she died.
I am coming to Louth in a couple of weeks and would love to photograph her grave.. I dont know the area and Im new to researching family history so dont know where to search.
Thanx Rox

Hello Rox,
Here are a couple of sites that might be useful:

might be worth getting the death cert to see where she actually died (LOuth in the index being a registration district)

In 1901 they are living in Ridgate, Louth in the parish of St Michael so it may be worth looking for cemeteries in that area.
www.genuki.org.uk may be helpful too.

Hi and thank you to everyone for your replies.
I have been to Louth to have a look and found our after it closed that the council offices at the town hall have a map of the cemetry ,which is off London Rd . It would appear that a car park has been built over one of the graveyards but I was told that the stones had been moved to the London Rd one.So I shall try getting hold of a copy of that before my next trip. Btw what a gorgeous little place Louth is.!!. The museum guy was really helpful too. I shall also have a look at the sites you have listed too. I am still learning so its great to learn where to look for things. Thanx Rox
