Hi, I'm living in Australia, (g'day!), looking for my GGG Grandfather and his wife's details.
His son was John William Corker, Born June 13, 1848 in Hulme/Chorlton, Lancashire.
That's all I know at the moment. Hoping some kind soul can shed some more light on this area.

Yes I think you're right because you said before she was born in 1816 so it must be right, thanks so much for filling in so many gaps.
-
My Grandmother was a Corker, she's still alive (95 yrs old!). I'm going to call her tomorrow and tell her!
-
From the censuses both Thomases had middle initials C. Dont know if that'll help at all.
I can't find a record of Nancy or Thomas's births.
-
On Ance*** there is a tree for a THOMAS CRANK CORKER Married to NANCY COOKE , I would put a few bob on Thomas's Mother's surname being CRANK..if you get the Marriage certificate for Thomas and Nancy it will give you Fathers names..... On the IGI there is a marriage of a JOHN CORKER to ELIZABETH CRANK in Liverpool in 1808.
I'll see if i can find any more details.

Who would that be? Thomas' father with a second marriage?

I would imagine it's Elizabeth Crank Corker, just using Betty rather than Elizabeth.
Good luck with your researching!! :D
