Hello coober, OK, so it's Ireland.....  Have you seen her tombstone (MI)?  In many cases, the tombstone will give details of the home parish in Ireland; also, there are many folks that will read this posting that are really expert on giving you help. I wish I could help more. Keep the faith!  ;D  Pat

Mary Ann's birth certificate will list names of both parents as well as exact place (townland) of birth. However, the names of her parents might also be listed on her marriage certificate or death certificate depending on where she married and died.

Have posted a query about Mary Ann's brothers on WWI board and asked for replies to be posted here so fingers crossed that someone there might find them (Commonwealth War Graves Commission list over 300 Brennans killed in WWI).

Thank you all for your advice,my meager facts are the following.Mary Ann emigrated to Australia but I'm unable to find her arrival, some states kept better records than others.A family story is that it was her 21st birthday possibly between 1912-1915.She married a Prussian-Australian in 1917 and I don't think there was any further contact with Ireland. She died in 1930 and only her birth & death dates are on the tombstone. She gave her father's name Thomas Redmond Brennan  and Queens County on her marriage certificate.Found a John Redmond Brennan married Anne of "Arles Parish"(a.k.a.Killabban Parish)children Patrick b.10May1857,Andrew b.24 April1859--Are they related to me???As you can see I need lots of help, coober
