My uncle died in 1931 at Swansea hospital. There was an inquest after the death and I wonder if there are inquest reports available ?

Hello Steve, I think it is unlikely that any are available but you never know, have you tried the West Glamorgan Archives I think that would be a good place to start. I found extensive reporting in the local newspaper for an inquest, full of detail so I would also search the newspapers of the time.
Hope that helps

Hi Steve,
If you can give details - name and exact date (by PM if necessary), I can have a look in the newspapers at the library next week.
(That's if you're not in the area?)

Hi Steve, I managed to get the search done today and found a short report of the death (in which they've got his name wrong) and also an inquest report which is unfortunately on the fold of the paper. You can still read it, but it's not the best clipping.
If you can PM me with your e-mail address I'll send them tomorrow.
