A few distant cousins have been searching for our Marren's for years, always coming up empty-handed.
Would there by any websites that I might try searching, please? Our ancestor's information:
Bridget Marren, born c1834, supposedly in Magheracloone. Parents supposedly were Andrew Marren and Sarah McCabe.
Bridget sailed to Canada c1847, settling in Toronto. While living in Toronto, she married Michael Sullivan when she was quite young. We know quite a bit about Bridget, Michael and their family in Toronto, but we would dearly like to obtain more information about their Irish roots.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

There are Marren's in St Peter and St Pauls churchyard. There was a Marren family who stayed across the bog from my fathers famil at Derrynascobe .
One Jimmy Marren stayed in Glasgow for a number of years but he returned to Magheracloone and he is buried in the same churchyard.

Hi tullyboy. Thank you for your interest in this thread. You have given me a few leads and I look forward to seeing if we can finally find out something about the family. Perhaps I might be able to find some answers at St Peter and St Paul.
Thank you again for your help and best of luck with your own research.
