Title: Richard Henry EDWARDS and Elizabeth DAVY - SA

Hi everyone,

Never underestimate the kindness of the human race, as I have learnt from the help I have recieved on this site!

Sorry to bother you all again, but I am now on the hunt for Emily Haines Beckwith's husband, Henry Davy Edwards. I know his birth and marriage, but would like to find out more on his parents, Richard Henry Edwards and Elizabeth Davy. Henry was born in SA, so possibly his parents died there and possibly were married? Maybe even born? SA is hard to research with no online database, so any information will help very much. Did Richard and Elizabeth have any more children? Is there any details about their parents or birth years?

Please help if you can

No marriage for this couple in South Australia.

Births - Henry in 1855 and then the gap...wonder where the father was in the interim period.

I can see no death for Richard Henry EDWARDS and no Elizabeth EDWARDS with husband Richard in the SA.

There is only one EDWARDS marriage in SA with father Richard Henry and that is the EDWARDS/BECKWITH marriage.  The family may have moved interstate.

Wonder if the EDWARDS named in the Govt Gazette was a relative.

These births I  found in Victoria for children born to Richard Henry EDWARDS and Elizabeth DAVEY
 Elizabeth born 1857 at Forest Creek reg no 3227
James born 1858 at Campbells Creek reg no 13819
Emma Mary born  1862 at Fore reg no 7122

 Any chance you have a connection to Raymond Henry Edwards (son of Henry Lionel Edwards) who was married to Joanna Martha Lloyd? I am researching this Lloyd family.
