Hi,

Would someone please help me find the birth of Henry Davey/Davy Edwards who is the son of Richard Edwards and Elizabeth Davy, born most likely in Australia. He was a husband to Emily Haines Beckwith, and their marriage would also be very helpful. Emily was born 2 April 1864 in South Australia. This site is wonderful!

His death certificate should detail his place of birth and place and date of marriage

I can't see a marriage in the indexes for the parents of Henry Davey EDWARDS but 9 years after the birth of Henry, they went on to have 7 more children, the last being born in 1876.

Will have another search just in case the marriage was mistranscribed.

I have an old family photo album without many of the names to go with the photos. I googled one name I do have- on the back of one photo- Emily H Beckwith-the photo is of a man, possibly H Edwards.
Just wondering if this could be your relation?
The album came from my great aunt's estate (Annie von Allworden who married a Jack Foody later in life)

Yes it fits that that is my ancestor Emily Haines Beckwith and the man was Henry Davey/Davy Edwards. Do you know what relation they were to the other people in the photo? Can you possibly show me somehow through scan or something because I have no photos of any of my relations on that side and this is so exciting! Are you in Australia?
