Hi :)
I am sure this question has been asked somewhere on this board ???
but I cannot find it,
Are there any maps of plot layout's for Newport cemetery, Lincoln.
I went again today, and could not find a living soul to help me :)
and I did not want to get side tracked reading every headstone that caught my eye :)

Hi Eilleen
There is certainly an index of MIs at Lincs Archives. It would tell you-
1) if a specific person had a stone at the time the MI list was made
2) the location of that stone - check the map for the MI index - it may not correspond with the official map.

Thank you Geoff :)
I will do just that.

Hi I know this is an old thread but Deceased on Line now has all the Lincoln Burials and Cremations on its database, you can search for free but to view the registers and the details you need a subscription. I've attached a copy of the plan

Deceased online has recently given me dozens of results for there as well as Canwick Road. I feel the need for a week off work to make the trip...........and a spare camera battery or two ;D

it great isn't it, there are so many of my family in Newport and Canwick Road.
the one on deceased on line for Lincoln are
