We have been offline to try and iron out some difficulties, which we can't go into. You will notice a little "Copyright" link at the bottom of the page, which I'd ask you read.

It's great to get RootsChat.com back up and running again, and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do running it.  :)  :)  :)

I thought every one knew you were not allowed to copy and paste, or scan, any goverment document from one site to another.Or for that matter take anything from any site unless it's for personal use only. I once got an animation from a Web site to put on root'sChat. I got a very terse email from the site telling me off more or less. Then they took the animation back ;D Please don't get RootsChat into trouble ,Dont put original anything on rootsChat. It's O.k to type copy i think ???

The family came round this evening so I've only just logged on again since I dashed in and out of the chat room earlier in the day. I expected the worst and then found you're back. What a relief!!!

I can't tell you how pleased I am that RootsChat is up and running again - I felt so lost without it today. It made me realise how much I love this site!

I've met some really nice people today on the chatroom (thank goodness that was there!)

Thank the stars Rootschat is back!!! I know I haven't been on much lately, but I nearly fainted dead away when I was made aware of the situation. (Thank you graceland for the update!!)

Anyway, thank you Trystan and Sarah for all the hardwork and dedication both you and all the moderators have placed into this site. Hopefully, when life slows a little bit, I'll be back more. I miss all you guys.   :'(

(mind you, I must admit that I managed to get more work done yesterday, than I have usually been doing,  but, after all, you do have to set your priorities  ;D )

Absolute panic struck me, what would I do without you, and all my "friends" Welsh Jen, Darcy, Graceland, Bob, Chris, Nell, Casalguidi,  Hack and all the others, who would I learn from?

No doubt we all promise we will behave in future because we would all be devistated if it was something that one of us did that got you two into trouble and made us lose Rootschat. You have my promise that I will (if I was guilty of it).

I would hate to lose all my friends on here and I was devistated when you were offline last night and I had no way of getting in touch with them again

What a relief to find RootsChat back this morning - I only discovered the site last week, but have already found it so helpful and entertaining that I would hate to see it disappear.  (Not to mention the perfect excuse not to do the housework.. :P.)  I spent all yesterday mooching round the house and grumbling at the kids, so they're as relieved as me to see you're up and running again.  (The kids, not the house  ;D !)

 I was sad all day yesterday.  I was very excited when I booted up my computer this morning and found that I had a message waiting. At first I thought that it was a trick.

 We may not say it enough but we do appreciate what you do for us in hosting this site.
One day without it and I was lost. 

I love meeting so many helpful and interesting people and hopefully I will be able to help someone too.
