Before 1800, researching William BILLS and wife Ann. There are 2 couples of that name, maybe even 3, over two generations. Any bapt., marriage and death entries would be useful. The same family, I think, moves around a lot, Wormshill, Charing, Egerton... with two female descendants marrying in Dartford in the 1850s. Thank you for any help.

Most people prefer to ADD to what you already hold rather than waste effort on replication.
Cityark may be worth a look for you if you have not already done so.
Put on what info you already hold and you may find some help.

Welcome to Rootschat. :D
You can search for marriages on the Mid Kent Marriage Index
http://woodchurchancestry.org.uk/midkentmarriages/
Wormshill is not included in the index as the registers are still with the parish.
Nor does the index cover Dartford

Welcome to RootsChat :)
I've got Headcorn Baptisms, & there's six children baptised to a William & Ann BILLS between 1775 & 1794.
Also a likely Marriage in 1773.
Would you like the details if you don't already have this couple?

My thanks for the replies. Cityark did not give me anything; maybe I did not search properly. I must try again.
What I have is somewhat uncertain. Four daughters were certainly born to George BILLS and Ann DAY :
Mary, bapt 30 10 1825 in Bexley,
Ann, bapt 01 06 1828 in Horton Kirkby,
Jane, bapt 13 05 1833 in Darenth,
Emma, bapt, 16 08 1835 in Sutton at Hone.
The parents : George BILLS bapt 18 04 1802 in Lenham,
married Ann DAY 10 01 1825 in Bexley.
I do know that George was the son of William and Ann.
I am trying to find which William. There is a William BILLS, bapt in Wormshill 11 03 1770, son of William and Ann , who died in Egerton in 1852. Married to Ann (possibly Ann SIMMS 09 07 1793 in Ulcombe).
But there is also a William BILLS, bapt 26 12 1777 in Headcorn, son of William and Ann WHIMSET. Am I barking at the wrong tree?
Lenham seems to be the pivot in this tree.
Thank you Betty, I have found the marriage in 1773, and the bapt of William in 1777, Elizabeth in 1779, Thomas in 1781 and James in 1782. Are Mary, 1793 in Charing, Ann, 1794 in Headcorn and John 1797 in Egerton, also the children of Ann WHIMSET ?
Thank you, bearkat, for sending me to the Mid Kent marriage index; I found several interesting leads.
Any suggestions ? Thanks.
