Hi All
I am researching my family history and i have a listing for a grave in Moston Cemetary. I have found the grave but it dosen't list my great grandmothers name, but her parents are listed on the grave. I was wondering if any one has been able to look at the archive records before for Moston Cemetary and if they have been charged for the search? My dad thinks it is possible that ther may be other family members buired in the plot, may be the records would show this.
Kind regards
Ali

Hi Ali
This is not very nice to say but the people in the office are not that friendly, I have stopped going in and asking for locations.
They will not permit you to look at the records, and I think they charge £30 for a grave search, but you would need to confirm this with them.

Hi,
The email address is cemeteries [-- at --] salforddiocese.org and if you know the exact date of death they will provide a grave reference. If you only know the year, they charge £30.00 for the search. I recently had some confusion over a grave number and emailed for clarification and they weren't that friendly by the tone of their reply.
Regards,
Luzzu

As I only live round the corner from the cemetery, I became sort of regular asking for plots for other researchers. Think they got a bit !"£$%^&*() off with me in the end.
The lads that work in the cemetery are fantastic and will help you out all the time.
Just might be a case of who you get at the time of calling ;D
