Florence Amy Stoodley was born in Teddington, Middlesex in 1887. She became a teacher after graduating from Royal Holloway College, University of London. She taught at Sunny Hills School, Bruton, Somerset from 1911 to 1915 and at Colston’s Girls School from 1915 to about 1924. What became of Florence after that? Can anyone help with further information about her? jimpam.

Hi jimpam, Might be interesting to look up Mr Gallop in 1911 census and 1901 and see his age and occupation- that may throw some light on whether this is her marrige or not.

Where is Colston's Girls School please?

Just had another look at FreeBMD and there are a few Florence Stoodleys, with births registered in Chard, who could be the one marrying in 1929.  :-\
