I am looking for a marriage that took place at All Saint Rotherham, York, England between John Grayson and Hannah Ellis on 25 November 1823. I live in the United States and so I am not familiar with the area and if I am even asking for this lookup in the right area!!
I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could give me.

I probably was not very clear in my request. I would like a source for this marriage. I want to verify that this marriage actually took place in the place stated above.
The IGI has lots of information but it does not prove that the marriage happened. So if someone could help me find proof that the marriage did take place or if someone could direct me to the right place to find the information, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Alane
