Hi there,
I'm afraid my nanny died a few years ago, however when I begin to research this side of my family I'll certainly keep an eye out for Morgans- Have you looked in the street directors for the area? If you're likely to be in Belfast at any stage you can see them at the linen hall library or PRONI at Balmoral. I've found the directories to be very useful, the latest on http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/qrcomplete1910.htm is 1910 as you can see on this link but keep an eye out incase any more recent ones get uploaded someday

Hello,
My family owned the general store at number 70. My granny, Mary Leeson ran it with her sister Margaret McCusker. I think it was during the late 1930s and 1940s. They lived at 82 Andersonstown Road. Mary was married to Tom and they had three children Jim, Dessie and Eilish. Eilish is my mum. I can probably gather more information but I hope this was useful.

My great grandmother Catherine Robinson lived at number 55 with her sons Thomas, Joseph and Albert. They are listed there in the 1911 census but I am not sure when they moved out.

George Gibbs who lived in Princes Street, Bolton, Lancashire from 1921 until his death in 1925 was a brush maker! He was thought to be a founder member and possible secretary of the local branch of the British Legion when it started up! as I cannot find any reference to this fact, can anyone shed any light on this? I would be extremely grateful for any info, thanks.

Note: This old thread should be in Co. Antrim rather than Co.Down, all streets mentioned previously are north of the Lagan.
-
Yes, it should be moved to Antrim (all Belfast posts are listed under Antrim here).
