-
Hi sirbrennalot
Can we have a short version please! Bren would be good I think! ??? What you you say?

Oh my word, that's a challenge :o
Go on Paula, go for it, you can do it :) :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence....
It's such a pretty picture, I love the little doggie....
-
This any better to go at? (untouched)
300dpi at 230%
PDF file - open with adobe reader, magnify as much as neccesary, press "print screen" on keyboard.
Open graphics program and copy to new file at 300dpi.
Image is optimized for web.

If anyone can you can Paula!
I want to see the dog properly!
Hi Betty,
Nice to see you!
Rabbit B ;D
Hi George,
That is impressive! Very clever too ;D
-
Not clever or impressive. :(
Shows more how the image has been damaged perhaps.
A new scan without most of the scanner bed and presented as jpeg or other (tiff) would be better maybe.
-
A quick sympathetic go.
Regards
Vintman
-
That's better, miagre....unfortunately.....
I've put quite a bit of work into the small one.... :(
-
What an adventure!
There was a massive Adobe update that had to be taken on before anything could happen properly. Magic.
This is the best I could get out of it...
Well...it's better than the originial
-
Hi Paula,
Considering the state of it that is blooming marvelous
Hi vintman,
Yours is very good too
Rabbit B ;D
-
well done guys,,, it wasn't an easy one was it ;D
Irene

Hi Irene,
Another good restore. I think this photo is bringing out the best in everyone.
Really stretched me, I learned a lot.
What is so annoying, I think, is there are so many details, but it's difficult to get to them.
What ever, I enjoyed it.
-
Considering what you had to start with, the results are excellent
:)
Betty

Paula I really think a higher dpi would have helped bring some of that detail out. With this much damage I think 600 would be better.
Irene

Hi Everyone
I agree with Betty,
You do some wonderful work and when the picture is this bad I really don't know how you do it!
Rabbit B ;D
-
And I agree with Irene, Rabbit, the more dpi the better with this one.
It's a beautiful picture.
-
Well Paula,
We are all right, you and Irene because what you have said is true and Betty and I because what we said is correct too.
The restores that have been done are amazing, considering the poor quality of the picture.
I am still staggered that George could improve it like that. It is wonderful what you can do when you know how 8)
Rabbit B ;D
-
It certainly is, Rabbit, and I've got the up to date Adobe into the bargain.
Great.
-
Hi Paula,
I tried to update mine and it didn't work ::) I only have a reader version. ???
Oh well tomorrow is another day!
Rabbit B ;D
-
Hello, (again ;D)
-
Wow miagre1,
That is a lovely one, I am sure that everyone will agree with that.
That little dog looks like a terrier type doesn't it!
Rabbit B ;D
Wire haired Betty? What do you think?
Don't forget that the breeds have changed over the years! This one looks like a mix but most likely got that blood.

Hi Rabbit
I was wondering what sort of dog it was, 'terrier' is also the best I can come up with ;D
Betty
-
Don't care what he is, he's brilliant.
So is your version, miagre.
I love this thread.
-
Border Lakeland Terrier, methinks. :)

Border Lakeland Terrier, methinks. :)
Hi Again,
Have a Lakeland, I am not clever enough to fix two side by side, otherwise you could have had a snap of my Border as well
Rabbit B ;D
-
What ever, it's cute.
-
Hi Paula,
Imagine him when he need stripping, and I think that is what you have got in the picture!
Rabbit B :)
