I am trying to locate Colin, Fraser and Hamish MacKenzie. Sons of Stuart and Anna MacKenzie, one time of Essex Drive, Scotstoun, Glasgow. Colin attended Hillhead High and worked for a bank after leaving school. Fraser was at one time a PE teacher. Colin would now be aged about 61, Fraser and Hamish 2 to 5 years younger. Any information much appreciated

I believe that I may be one of the brothers that you are looking for.

My goodness, from the "Cmack" it looks as if I've found Colin !!!!! Fantastic. I dont think there could be any other MacKenzies meeting my description and so you must be he - I think we probably last met some 50 years ago! Just to confirm in case you are in any doubt about who I am, I'm your grandad Jimmy's brother Alex's son, Alasdair.
I've tried to PM you with info on myself but for some reason it wont send. If you want to reply to me at * that would be great. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi alasdairmac
Gosh it is some time since you originally posted. How exciting that you have had a response from one of the people you were looking for.
I have taken off your personal email - this is standard RC policy for everyone.
The main thing to note is that as soon as Colin (CMack) post one or two more times, you can use the personal messaging service with confidence on confidentially on the exchange of message and/or personal emails.
Colin does not look to have been back on line since he posted on Sunday. Hopefully he will be back soon and post back. You can always click on someone's name on the l/h side of their posts to see when they have last been on line.

Hi Alistair my name is Karen, I am Colin's daughter. I have been helping him to set up this account to contact you but we are having difficulty using it. I can see that you have been trying to give us your email address but it is being blocked. Is there any other way for us to contact each other?

I am posting again in the hope that this will allow us to PM each other????

PM system should now work

I know this is a long shot, but I wonder if your MacKenzies have been in Glasgow for a few generations. I am trying to trace a firm of lawyers MacKenzie and MacKenzie who were in Glasgow at least in the second half of the 19th century (and very possibly longer.) They were apparently related in some way to my gg-grandmother Isabella MacKenzie or her husband Donald Macdonald, and Isabella and/or her daughter, Annie Macdonald, who lived in Midlothian, visited them and were given a warm welcome.
