Hi folks
New to the board and wondering if there is a name index for the 1841 census for Newington?
If there is, would some kind person mind looking for Charles Woodall for me? He should be 45 or so, brushmaker/cloth finisher perhaps, possibly living with wife Ann (older than him.)
He died in 1844 at 14 Flood Terrace, Beresford St, Newington but I believe a search of that address in the 1851 didn't find him.
I'd also be interested to see if Richard Benger Woodall (brother) is in Newington. He died there in 1868 and the family seem to have been associated with Southwark all their lives.
Here's hoping!

Hi Rowan
I'm doing a bit of housekeeping and noticed this older request. Are you still looking for this information or resolved in the meantime? If you're still after the information, any other details come to light that might help find them?
Regards
Biker :)
