Title: help to dicipher words in census form *CLOSED*

I badly need some help to figure out some words on one of my family census forms   :-\

It is dressmaker thats the way 'ss' was written

Not sure about town.


male occupation may be confectioner

The "ss" like that is often used for "Miss",  you get used to it after a while.

It looks like confectioner to me, but a funny looking "f", never seen one like that in my transcribing.

I have put 'perhaps confectioner'  just in case. 

Very grateful for the input - I'm going to look at a map of Kent to see if I have any luck with that one.

Would you believe the place name was  Hunton??

 I actually found I already had her place of birth from other census forms, but hadnt used my noodle enough

 :)
