I have just been on my GR account to check one or two names. I noticed that my personal photo had been inserted into a GILT COLOURED FRAME. Well, it was ok I suppose. Then looking further back I found my father's photo also in a frame with his head missing, father-in-law half visible, grandfather also cut-off, etc. etc.
I was just happy the way it was. Every photo was completely visible. They didn't need enhancing in this way.
Has anyone else seen this change and were their photos affected too?

Hi Judy,
there is an option to change the frame. I couldn't find an option to not have a frame.
I don't like any of their options, I've sent a feedback email asking if there is a way to not have a frame. If I get an answer, I'll get back to you.

Thanks Leonie. I hadn't thought of looking at other trees which I have access to. I will look at them and see what has happened elsewhere. I will also send a message to GR as you have done.

I sent a message of complaint to GR and now, some hours later, I found that they have rectified my photos i.e. "shrunk to fit" so everything seems right now. Thanks to Leonie and GR.

That's good. :D
They need all the help they can get. We need to help them along sometimes. ;D

I am glad that they've "sorted it" as I have had most of my original information via GenesReunited. Regardlesss of what other people on here have said, I have generally enjoyed my membership of the site. There have been one or two other things which have niggled me in the past but I thought it had settled down now.
Thanks for the support.

Same here Judy, think the full 'ancestral' membership is very good and also enjoy browsing for names in our own, not quite so ancient age group. ;) Recently made contact with members researching families where we used to live, very pleased.
