Does anybody know of a link or two to the prestigous family tree of the Courtenays, the Earls of Devon (if one exists!)

I had been interested in the Courtenay family because I was informed of a rumour from a fellow researcher of the CRUWYS surname that the CRUWYS families from Cruwys Morhcard and Cheriton Fitzpaine in Devon, may have been related to the Courtenays. I have been unable to justify the rumour.
Shame :(
