hi. what a swift response. (thank you)
all ive got is the 1901 wales census. im paid up on ancestry but cant get going on this family.
ive have such a big success on my own family.....this one baffles me.
-
I think we'll have to work backwards from the 1901.....What names do you have?
-
Hi Walesfromfrance, ;D
I have both these names in my family, the Bradnums were from Norfolk to Pembrokeshire then married a Summers and lived in Swansea.
I think we must be related as mine were the only Bradnums in Wales.

Re Troy in you interests. Is this a surname? My Aunt Martha married a Troy in Swansea. Could be a connection. I also have neighbours who are Summers from Swansea. Let me know more, please!!

Wow.
U are all shedding light on things I cannot find.
I think I'll try and concentrate on one surname at at time.

Hi walesfromfrance,
I forgot to say welcome to RootsChat ;)
I have the names Bradnum (Norfolk), Summers (Pembrokeshire), Reed (Glam), Eddy (Cornwall) and Rook (Glam) in my Tree..
Thank you for the PM where more in depth information could be mentioned.
All these families lived in Swansea, although you will see some were not born there originally.
I will read with interest the other replies you have.

Re Troy Swansea.
Marriage 1901 Swansea
William Troy b 1879 to Martha Swain b 1882
Martha was my mother's eldest sister.
-
Looking at your other interest could William Troy b1911 be the offspring of William and Martha?
-
humpty dumpty.
I working blind with this one.I've got William Troy b.1911 Glamorgan married Beatrice Maud Demery.
Could this William be their offspring?
Maybe
-
His birth certificate will confirm who his parents are.
I don't know of any children from Wiliam and Martha. It was years before I was born and Martha was nearly 20 years older than my Mother! The 1911 census should throw up a lot of information.

Thank you Humpty Dumpty.
Many thanks to all who replied.
I'm on the starting block and going forward on this one
