I think we'll have to work backwards from the 1901.....What names do you have?

Hi Walesfromfrance, ;D

I have both these names in my family, the Bradnums were from Norfolk to Pembrokeshire then married a  Summers and lived in Swansea.

I think we must be related as mine were the only Bradnums in Wales.

Re Troy in you interests. Is this a surname? My Aunt Martha married a Troy in Swansea. Could be a connection. I also have neighbours who are Summers from Swansea. Let me know more, please!!

Hi walesfromfrance,

I forgot to say welcome to RootsChat ;)

I have the names Bradnum (Norfolk), Summers (Pembrokeshire), Reed (Glam), Eddy (Cornwall) and Rook (Glam) in my Tree..

Thank you for the PM where more in depth information could be mentioned.
All these families lived in Swansea, although you will see some were not born there originally.

I will read with interest the other replies you have.

His birth certificate  will confirm who his parents are.
I don't know of any children from Wiliam and Martha. It was years before I was born and Martha was nearly 20 years older than my Mother! The 1911 census should throw up a lot of information.
