Looking for more details on William & Mary SEFTON (nee FINLAY) who arrived from Down in New Zealand 1874. Belive Mary was born in Belfast Ireland.
They married in Parish of Tullyshire, Civil District Banbridge, County Down, Ireland in 1866.
Their children were:
Valentine b: 1866
Jane b: 17 Mar 1868
Sarah b: 1870
Ester b: 15 July 1874 onboard boat.
In NZ :
William Henry & Robert were born.
Is anyone connected with these families or know of children of the above plse.

Are there specific gaps, marriages, deaths etc you are after?
School record for Esther shows they were in Tuakau 1880 till she left school 1884
Roberts school record says left the Tuakau district 1892

Mainly trying to find out the children of the children born to William & Mary SEFTON (nee Finlay).
At the same time hoping someone on Rootschat may be connected to these families.

and here i am...lol...we come from william and marys first born valentine...i can give you everything you need i think :D i have been researching for a while now and have almost all info from after their emmigration to nz(eg;who their children married,what children they had,deathdates and burial plots in nz etc) and some from ireland...from which child do you stem???we could be cousins!!! you can email me direct if you prefer, its (*) hope to hear from you soon and we can help each other fill in gaps lol
