Post by: soloist on Saturday 18 April 09 18:01 BST (UK)

Hi soloist,

It looks like the Museum in Docklands may have some information on Docks police for London:

(see number 10 question & answer)

Might be worth contacting them?

Hi my 2 x gt.grandfather worked at St.Katherine's Dock as a policeman. You can contact the Docklands  museum and they will check their records. I was given when he started who proposed him and addresses where he lived.

Give as much information as you can, If possible which docks & dates.

Good luck.

Jennifer
