Was the Canadian census done every five years or am I missing something?
If so I may just get to see one last glimpse of my great uncle before he went off to war in France and never came home. Any idea what date in 1916?

Hello,

The 1916 census was just for the prarie provinces Albert,Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

If your ancestor was living there he should be on the census.

My husbands Uncle was at Camp Hughs in Manitoba and he is listed on the census.
