I have a Marjery McLauchlan nee Mill who is believed to have died in 1850 & buried in Berridale Cem Perthshire. Her husband was John McLauchlan born 1801, their children John, Ann, May/Mey, William & James. Marjery was born 1799 in Cargill, Perthshire.
Would be thrilled with any input whatsoever.
Thank you,
Tiffaney

Tiffaney - I Googled - Berridale cemetery UK -
and came up with Berriedale Cemetery, Caithness, Scotland - 25 miles s/w of Wick. There's an Old and New Berriedale Cemetery + many others in Caithness.

Yup this is in the wrong County you need to ask a moderator to move your post to Caithness. :)

Thanks fifer1947 & Ekainesch for your posts.
I have obviously given you the incorrect cemetery as Marjery McLauchlan also known as May (nee Mill)died in November 1850 in Kilspindie, Perth, Scotland.
Would anyone know in which cemetery she was buried please?
Many thanks,
Tiff

Hi Tiffaney
Is there any reason why she would not be buried in Kilspindie churchyard

There is only one pre-1855 MI at Kilspindie in the Carse of Gowrie, between Perth and Dundee
1790 Duncan McLachlen and his wife Mary Miller

'Thankyou for the link you gave me BruceL but it appears from Throth's post Marjery isn't buried there. So where is she buried?
Many thanks once again for your help Throth.

I didn't say she wasn't buried there. She might be, only there is no memorial stone or inscription. They didn't come cheaply and the majority of people were just buried without a stone.
Where was her husband buried? I would expect her to be there.

Sorry...I misunderstood what you posted.
Her husband died in Lincoln, New Zealand
