Hi all, ive just found my g/aunt MARGARET ANN DUTTONs death in RUTHIN - 1956- age 76. She came from LPOOL but married into the DUTTON family in CHESTER in 1914, they came from SOUTH WALES, LLANELLY in the 1880s and they were PAWBROKERs and JEWELLERYs. When her husband EDWIN HENRY DUTTON died in CHESTER - 1949 she must have moved to RUTHIN with members of the family, although iIm not sure whether she had any children . Is there anyone who knows of present day DUTTONs living in RUTHIN? They were always hard working and always shops or the likes where ever they went. Thanks very much TED.

Hello Ted,
I am Claire Dutton from Ruthin. My Father came from the Cheshire area, he moved down to Ruthin in the sixties as far as i know. His parents were Sally and Reginald Dutton-I think they moved down here to work as LandLord and LandLady of the Conservative club in Ruthin. I dont recall any mention of the names in your post. My father died last year leaving my mother and my two brothers and a sister. Dad still has living close relatives in Cheshire.
