The Central Western Daily is one of the very few newspapers that have digitised their obituaries, and not all of them are digitised but there is one for Ernest William CHRISTIAN, 8th October 1971.
There is an entry for Lexie and Phyllis but theirs' aren't digitised.

Hi Tbrako,
Thank you for contacting me, it was a wonderful surprise.
I am researching the family of John and Matilda Martin, they had 4 children, one was Elizabeth my great G mother, another was Susannah who was the mother of Ernest William Christian. I am trying to find details of decendants of John and Matilda.
I will send you a Personal message with my email address
