Title: Wade's in Maine

I am attemting to find out where in Irland my family came from. I know we cme to Canada first, does anyone have any ideas where to start looking? My family has lived in Maine for as long as anyone can remember.

one name I have is Samuel Bridges, I don't have the locatins at my fingertips at the moment, but will post them as soon as I can find it, I do know we came from Nova Scotia atfter Ireland, thank you so much for the promp reply

It would probably be best to track your family back, starting with the people in Maine, then back to Nova Scotia and, possibly, from there back to Ireland.  Perhaps you could start with your grandparents who, presumably, were in Maine.
