try also  :http://www.raymondscountydownwebsite.com/

and : http://www.proni.gov.uk/index/search_the_archives/will_calendars/wills_search.htm

Wills can provide useful info, if only to rule out a possible ancestor.

There is a manuscript family tree of Morgans in the Blackwood Family history manuscript trees vol 3 page 62-  in the LinenHall library, Belfast.  However this may not be your tree atall.  I suggest visit first, if not you could ask them for photocopying estimates if they think your knowledge relevant and you should be prepared to pay a fee for copying, post and packing, and perhaps some staff time and overheads. However if the material is really relevant when you get it, I suggest a further donation to this unique library that is always needing extra funds Linen Hall Library,17 Donegall Square North, Belfast BT15GB, Northern Ireland, Telephone: +44 (0)28 9032 1707,  Fax: +44 (0)28 9043 8586, Email: <irish.reference[at]linenhall.com>.replace the [AT] with the symbol please
So over to you, lots of luck, Jim

Hi Edenreaghbeg, I'm also researching the Curoe family, mine are from Killough Co Down. You have a Eliza married to a Arthur Morgan, are you sure about that, as I can only find a  Eliza Curoe married to a Samuel Ross in 1873, although her name was spelt Currie.RosDavies site also states that it is a Samuel Ross she married, Her fathers was a Patrick. My Curoe's were mariner's William, born abt 1834 his father was a William too and also a mariner. Wish you all the luck in your search.

Yes you are correct my Grandmother, Susan Ross's bapt cert shows she was born in 1885 in killough she had a brother, Robert.her Father was Samuel Ross ,Killough  her Mother was Eliza Curoe
Susan ross married John Morgan son of  arthur Morgan and Annie Dobbin --  there that is correct
Sorry about that

Mine seem to have ties in the Lambeg area also.
I just don't have enough Irish info.
Mine moved to Liverpool in 1857.
