Title: Parents of Alce Honey of Sunningwell

Hi

Alce was baptized in Sunningwell in 1619 with father Edward.

Also in the Sunningwell Parish Register are burials for Edward Hunny in 1668 at almost one hundred and Barbara Hunney in 1675 as a widow of over 80.

My hypothesis is that Edward and Barbara are Alce's parents.   Has anybody else reached this conclusion or have an opinion?

I am still searching for the birthplace of Edward, and now Barbara.  Neither appears as being baptized in Sunningwell.   Also, they were not married in Sunningwell.   Please, does anyone have a marriage for them?

Haven't found what you want but I came across this reference to a will

 1560 Hunney, James, Lawrence Waltham 112 1 See also Honney.
 1560 Honney, James, and Joan his wife, ad.

Lawrence Waltham isn't far from Sunningwell I think.

Perhaps if you managed to get copies of the will you could trace the family from the other end?
