Title: Dorsetshire regiment
Post by: traceydiment on Sunday 29 March 09 22:00 BST (UK)
Hi
I am looking for any information on an ancestor, Henry John Fickus (a Corporal in the Dorsetshire Regiment).  I know he served in WW1 and his brother Frederick William Fickus was killed in action.

Can you help with info??

There's also info on a Bertie H R Fickus - is he one of your family?

Frederick's Service Record is on ancestry.co.uk (damaged - but at least there!).

Bertie Fickus, I believe is another brother.  Will check my census records.

PS  Thank you very much for the other information - you have been most helpful.
