Title: Barnsley Road Name - Deciphering help request
Post by: benlyfreak on Friday 27 March 09 16:30 GMT (UK)
I would be grateful if anyone can identify the last part of the road name in the following picture, and if anyone has any local knowledge of barnsley, or access to a map from around 1890, let me know where it is today, if it's still in existance.

Taken from the 1891 Census, Barnsley, Municipal Ward - West Ward, Ecclesiastical Parish - St. Mary

Thanks in advance.

That was my first thought, but the last letter doesn't look right.
I'm posting another example of the same address from the previous census page incase it's easie to spot.
