Hi ceeol
We'd like to help, but you do need to give us a bit more to work with if you can:
Who is R. E. WARD?
When and how do you have WARDs at Garrison Lane in Aston
McCORMACKS? Who are they?
Names & individual dates (even approx), places, census, birth, marriage, children, siblings......links to other topics which may refer to them......
Be as specific in your information as you can. Any of this information that you may already have, please let us know - even to say if you don't have any of it.
It saves us spending time going over old ground or duplicating effort.
Cheers ;D

I'm a little confused?????
Are you saying that Frederick Ward married Annie mcormack in 1888 - yet they had a son James b 1851??
Doesn't make sense?????
and you have Thomas Ward 1829 wife mary 1831 then you mention siblings Frederick 1872 and Annie 1876 - do you mean frederick and Annie were children of Thomas and mary???? and not siblings of Thomas???

Like I said - this has been done before:
I suppose then, there is no person R. E. WARD - just to clear that up, you were actually meaning: Re: WARD???

The last link, being the one which appears to have Frederick on it - you have said the 1881 is 'yours".
This looks like the same family to me.....just because all the children were not in each Census doesn't mean they are different families - young people off visiting relatives (and you see relatives visiting to this family), or off out to work (boys and girls), or marrying....

Hi,
FreeBMD has a possible Ward/McCormack marriage:
Frederick Ward JunQ 1898 Birmingham 6d 121
Is this the right couple?
Nanny Jan

the familey moved to birmingham,aston
Who moved to Aston?
Was it not just your Frederick, who moved and who was found there in Garrison lane?
Any evidence of any of his natal family there too?
Cheers
