My husband is an Australian now living in the UK. He asked me to see if anyone on here knows of anyone who may be related to him present day in the Dundee/Strathmartine areas. His great great grandad was a mariner who jumped ship in Adelaide in the late 1870's, and he left lots of family behind in Scotland. Names associated with his family are SHERIFF-GUILD-BROWN-WILLIAMS-GOURLAY-BAXTER-THOMSON
Thankyou

Yes that's the family. OH's cousin put that on. He is in Australia too. We were just wondering if there were any relatives left in the area around Dundee nowadays.
