Title: still looking for Train 1841??
Post by: J.H on Thursday 17 February 05 09:34 GMT (UK)
Hi,
still trying to find Henry & Mary Train in the 1841?
In 1851 they were living in West Lutton, (think that is Weaverthorpe Parish),Hovingham/Malton area of  Yorkshire.
They had 6 children at that time:
George - Richard - John - William - Mary - Ann.

Hope someone may be able to help as I think i have traced who Henry's father & mother were, but need just a bit more info in order to be able to go to Parish register armed with more details!

I think his father & mother were Richard & Elizabeth Traine, (spelt with an 'e')????? Think Richard may
have been born at Beverley East Yorkshire, (St. John & St.Martin, Beverley near Hull East Yorkshire)??

Hope that's enough info???>

Kind regards J.H

Hello J.H.
I am trying to find the birth place and parents of Christpher Train who married a Margaret Stork before 1835. I have been stuck for a long time as Christopher gives a different place of birth on all the census records I have found him on. From Scotland to Not known in 1851 (think this was because he was on parish relief) he was living in Little Driffield, Yks. Also lists Skidby as well, plus Pennyback Northumberland. I really think he was born in the area of Beverley as two of his children were born at Woodmansey nr Beverley and the rest in Little Driffield.  I have just found the family on the 1841 census living in Dunswell, Yks and they had a son William Train that I did not know about. So that was an interesting find. I still have not been able to find a marriage for Christopher but now I know I have to look earlier as I had a son George Train as the oldest child. He was born in Woodmansey in 1838. Now I have to look before 1835 as that looks like when William Train was born.

Have you come across any Christopher Train's in your searching.

Anne
