My recommendation would be to get the Birth Cert of one of the kids shown in 1891, to reveal Annie's former names - and their Dad !

Looking at Richard - the closest I could get to a Birth entry (and the only Welsh one in a +/- 2 year period):-

Births Sep 1866

Sheehan  Richard     Swansea  v11a p593

and it looks like that 1871 Margaret Shean GrandMother was also called Sheehan in 1861 ...

Keep this on the 'back burner' for now - might be all coincidence !

1861 - RG9/4097; Folio: 4; Page: 6 - Swansea, Llangyfelach
Squars? Row, Mile End, Heath Road, 7 ?

Note that the Head is a Richard ....

Richard Sheehan    46 Head Copperman Ireland
Margaret Sheehan    51 Wife Ireland
John Sheehan    25 son Lab at Copperworks do
Patrick Sheehan    22 son do
James Sheehan    20 son do
Mary Sheehan    19 dau Ireland
Johanna Sheehan    23 dau do
Anna ?? Married / UnMarried ?? Sheehan 19 dau do

So where does Richard Shean / Sheehan fit in - maybe the Enumerators mistake and he wasnt a Son at all ?

Certainly a merry dance and a few coincidences with the names in earlier yeras !  ;)
