Excellent,
Both a bit dodgy with ages, but all good.
Thanks again, anything you need up here let me know .. :)

Why on earth would a woman add ten years to her age?
Nothing I need at the moment, but I'll keep your offer in mind.

riley
I guess various reasons. In my aunts case she put her age up by 8 years saying she was 33 instead of 25 when she married her 53 year old widower husband. Guess it looked better on paper ;D

MARRIAGE

Richard Hartley Cartman is my great great great grandfather. I'm trying to find information on his wife Susan Nicholls and also her mother - any info you have would be appreciated.
I don't know that the ages in the ITM are correct either. I found a Death Certicate on Births Deaths & Marriages for Richard Hartley Cartman - died 1916 aged 81 years old. Assuming this is the correct Richard Hartley, then that means he would have been born in 1835, making him 42 years old when this ITM was announced.
Mk2_Zephyr - do you have any info on Richard & Susan Cartman's ages.
Thanks for you're help. Sorry if I've asked daft questions. I'm just a newbie ;)
