if someone was living at heworth , & felling & pelaw in 1911 would it come under durham or northumberland as iv searched the now on line 1911 census and cant find them

Hi :)
I stand to be corrected but I would have thought Heworth and Pelaw would come under Durham and Felling Northumberland.

I don't think that Durham and Northumberland are included on the 1911 census. See map of available counties:
http://www.1911census.co.uk/ContentFiles/CountyMapV2.gif
However oddly enough, this list sayd they are available:
http://www.1911census.co.uk/content/default.aspx?r=24&106
:-\
Looks like Heworth and Felling are in Durham:

Pelaw ? ...

Felling is Gateshead so should be Durham.
also 1911 censuses for Durham came one line overnight.

Oh yes, silly me of course Felling is Gateshead, sorry.
I have just searched for one of mine, up to press, from Durham, and she came up.

thanks every one i thought heworth etc came under durham but the rellies im after is only showing for hartlepool and middlesbrough no heworth etc strange !!!!
-
i have just tryd again and again !!! with drop down county etc wildcards name varient etc and still no heworth just hartlepool and middlesbrough and one at sunderland so heworth must come under northumberland so another wait for that !!!
-
I also just found out by checking the 1911 site that Durham's now online. I would have thought we may have received e.mails re the adding of a county ??? but I received nothing :o
Still cant find my Edward Jones though ::) I was hoping he may have been married with kids but the only one that vaguely fits is a single lodger. ugh ;D
-
i didnt get email saying durham was on line either it was just by chance when i looked for updates that i discoverd it was , and i cant find my relies either that is why i posted this post
-
In the 1911 census, Gateshead was classed as part of Northumberland. So, frustratingly, we will have to wait another month or so for Felling, Heworth etc.

yes allan iv just discovered that , it is not classed as durham on the 1911 census , when i discovered that durham was on line i was so excited at the thought of finding my rellies at last just to discover we all have to wait again for gateshead , heworth , lets hope it will be worth it !!! and that it wont be to long for northumberland to be added
-
I too was excited about durham because a bunch of my family moved to gateshead from carlisle in the 1905 -1907 time frame - wanted to see so much - oh well- have the credits- now just waiting.....
