On the Ellis Island Site a relative gives her NOKs address in Scotland as " Clapthorn, East Kilbride" in 1921.
Does anyone know where that was in East Kilbride?

It could be Platthorn.
St Andrews & St Brides Secondary School is on Platthorn Drive,just opposite
the town centre.
