Of course you can ask if there might be a connection between your families- just remember not to mention details of living people. I suspect there might have been a better response to the original post if more details were given.

Thanks aghadowey.. It might be necessary to mention living people and places and events in common .. do you think it would be better done in a PM ???
Thanks for your help ... Anthony

It is against Rootschat policy to mention details of living people or possily living people so if those details might be needed you'll have to send a PM.

IGI lists other children- triplets!
Mary, Thomas and Jane born 8 Dec.1865 Ardee district
There's also a Henry Durnin and Mary Reilly having children in Ardee district around the same time- Mary (1866), Owen (188), Thomas (1869), John (1873), James (1876), Peter (1879)- so just be careful not to get the two sets of Henry and Mary Durnins mixed up.

Henry Durnin married Mary McKeever in Tallanstown on 23/7/1860. Unfortunatley there is no record of their parents or their address. The witnesses were Patrick McKeever and Jean Larney. As this marriage was before the Civil registration the parish record is the only information available.
Their children Triplets born 09/12/1865. Thomas, Mary and Jane. (Mother is Mary is McKever)
Peter 16/06/1868 and Bridget 14/04/1871. (mother is Mary McKeever)
There are several Henry Durnin's born in the 1820 and 1830's that would fit the bill. If you could give me information on the townland they were from I may be able to help further. If you got the birth cert for one of the children you may get an address on it.
