Title: ANGLIS / ANGLESS
Post by: illustrator on Thursday 12 March 09 10:44 GMT (UK)
Hi
Has any one got any records of the Anglis, Angless or Angliss family of New Arlesford Hants. John Anglis appears on the 1851 census married to a Sarah Field with three of her children from a previous marriage (Andrews). Any records pre 1851?

Hi,

This looks like their marriage:           (From Free BMD)

John Angles    SepQ 1845   Alresford   7   1

Sarah Andrews on same page.

Copy of the certificate should show the name and occupation of John's father.
