Hi,
does anyone know of this person?
Or at least his family, Stanislaw "Stan" left for Australia and arrive in Fremantle 22 July 1949 aboard the ship "Amarapoora",
born 30 April 1925 Skokow Poland.
we have his details of his life here, but would like to find more on his family before Australia, such as his parents and siblings and so on
he was a police officer or military police officer before leaving for Australia,
we do not reqire details of "Stan" after 1949 in Australia.

NA recordsearch http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/recordsearch/index.aspx
- shows him arriving in 1949 (just search for Slabolepszy).
There is a digitised 8-page record which gives his birthdate, his birthplace "SKOKOW" in Poland, an alternative spelling of the name "SLBOLEPSZY", an address in Arolsen, Germany (presumably where he was living before he sailed to Australia), and a photo of him.
There are also some other records that have not been digitised yet but give the name of his wife and child (also naturalisation records are there, you can also ask for those).
Original spelling possibly 'Słabolepszy'?

Thankyou jorose, but as my querie did say and ask,
"We have his details while he was in Australia"
"But would like to find more on his family"

In order to find more details of him in Europe, it is important to have the name of the town where he originated. I looked for this as your original message did not say where he was born, and only gave approximate dates for his arrival - the NA record gives an exact date/ship of arrival and a birthplace so I assumed you may not have had it.
If you want to find family or information about his life in Germany/Poland you will have to look for local archives - parish, town, provincial, etc. This may be 'Skokow' (Skoków in Borek Wielkopolski) gives addresses for the town archive/local Catholic parish which hold records less than 100 years old:

Thankyou, yes I have all the details from NAA via an office in New York, I originally requested from an office in Poland about "Stan" and they made enquiries to an office in New York, they sent me also his military details, and names of parents on original papers pre 1949 but they are so poorly writen and faded they cannot be understood.
But thankyou anyhow.

they sent me also his military details, and names of parents on original papers pre 1949 but they are so poorly writen and faded they cannot be understood.
If any of these papers are in Polish it might be worth showing us an example. You never know what a native speaker might be able to identify in the text.
It also might be possible for someone to manipulate the image by using photoshop.

Thankyou kaja, will put them in shortly, but as I wrote, they are poorly writen and faded over time, they do appear to be non running writing but of poor quality.

Hi,
I may have some information for you.
I am Stan Slabolepszy's daughter.
Who are you ?.
-
Hello Hettjac, thanks for contact, I have made contact with your brother a while ago, I have found a fair bit of Stan's family details with a lot of the movement papers of the day.
Shane.
-
Ok Shane.
Do you have all the information you require as I have documents, photos and letters about Stan before his arrival in W/A.
-
With his service papers there was one photo,
it was my mother he met with here in Aust, you may remember the lady with the long black hair.
your brother sent me one page of a letter that he held all these years, when I saw that letter I knew it was my mothers handwritting, it never changed.
