John Enright Ryan was born in Belfast around 1851.His father. also called John, was a soldier.
John Enright worked in the printing trade in London, and married Ellen Caroline Williams in 1874 in Holborn. They lived in Holborn, St Pancras, and Southwark, and their children were Agnes, Louisa, John, William and Kathleen. Does anybody have any information about the family?

Hello, Sally,
What specific info are you seeking ? You seem to have some info to hand as you say you know John's occupation & birth place with father's name, together with a marriage to Ellen Carolne Williams in 1874 Holborn, and the children's names & places they lived.
Does this mean you have info. on the census years, etc.& what about birth entries for the children ? It would help if you posted what info you have as this does save a lot of duplicated work for anyone trying to help.

Hello Meliora,
I am hoping that I might make contact with other descendants of John Ryan. I have been researching the family for years as one of his daughters, Agnes, was my gt grand mother. She had siblings Louise, John, William and Kathleen.
There are a lot of John Ryans in the records for that time, but anybody who is descended from this particular John Ryan will know because of the middle name.
